Click the title post for CSTV.com's top 25 but here are my Top 10 unless we have a strange season of upsets like those that occurred in 2007.

2008 -2009 BCS Game Prediction:

1. AUBURN - if they beat West Virgina in game 2 they have LSU at home Sept 20 and Tenn on the 27th with smooth sailing to Georgia on November 15th. No Florida unless in the SEC champ game. I am gun shy with Tuberville who manages a way to lose 4 games regardless.

So as an Auburn optimist, this year could be similar to the 2004 season. Don't accept Tuberville's spin if he loses to teams he is supposed to beat. Dock the guy in a loss pay clause. If they lose to West Virginia.. plan on a typical mediocre year for Tuberville..... Again.

2. USC - They just reload and win.

3. Florida - They might have cured their reload problems of 2007

4. Ohio State - They never play anyone and have to get ranked high just because the end up with one or two loses.

5. Texas - Same as Florida, I think they have cured the 2007 jitters.

6. Georgia - I just don't see them repeating the 2007 season.

7. Wisconsin - I was amazed they didn't do better last year

8. LSU - Not sure they reloaded

9. West Virginia - Like OSU, they play no one and end up with only one or two losses.

10. Oklahoma - Easy schedule but don't put them in a BCS game for 2 years... they never win them and get blown out. Ie: 2005, 2006, 2007 games

11. Virginia Tech - Same as OSU and WVR

I predict Auburn to beat Clemson 38-19. But I also predicted Auburn to beat Miss State and USF and Georgia.

SO If Mr Mediocre loses his 5th game..... I DEMAND that he gives $200,000 to an Auburn Children Charity as a LOSS PENALTY..... from a raise he should NEVER HAVE GOTTEN with 4 losses ... 2 to teams he should have beaten and wasn't prepared.

And if he loses to West Virginia in Game #2 of 2008 ... Auburn kids get another $200,000 LOSS PENALTY.

A side note.. .UCLA hiring Rick Neuheisel. People forget that the UCLA alum did win his Lawsuit against the NCAA and got $4 million for unlawful firing due to his post game conduct. They NCAA will watch him like a hawk.. the NCAA is sore for losing to Neuheisel.

I have it from the source that Terry Bowden might be the top candidate for the West Virginia Coaching job. I like Terry and his wins over Florida that were in great fashion. I loved visiting him when he was at Auburn and told him after buying a large number of Scholarship tickets, that if he beat Florida his first year he would go undefeated. .... It was right before the Ole Miss game which I think was the first his first year. He has been nothing but nice to me and I would love to see him Coach again... but Auburn HAS GOT TO BEAT Tommy Bowden and then Terry if he indeed goes to West Virginia. But boy o boy, will that get a lot of attention due to the Extraction of Terry from Auburn. I liked his style and his offense daring... Reverses, Triple reverses, 4th and 30 and you go for it. Fantastic. 11-0.

Auburn better not lose to Clemson making it 5 losses

With the departure of Al Borges who was a disappointment and the hiring of Troy States Coordinator Tony Franklin, maybe Auburn can put points on the board. Troy put up 91 points against Georgia, FLorida and Arkansas in 2007 while Auburn scored only 49 against the same teams. If it wasnt for Will Muschamps Defence, Auburn could have lost 2 more games.

But Auburn better win against Clemson... another mediocre Coach in Tommy Bowden fired for his lousy performance while calling plays for Auburn in those Terry Bowden days. The only reason I am not standing with protest signs in front of Tuberville's house is that he beat Florida.

Beating Alabama, which he should have, doesn't make him a genius. Not losing 4 games a year will make him a genius. I am getting ready this far in advance for his excuses if he loses to Clemson then to West Virginia 2 games from the Bowl game.

How about think of going into Tuberville's office and asking for a refund check to an Auburn Charity if he drops into mediocrity in 2008... which is possible since I don't see any 4 star recruits heading to Auburn in 2008.

Don't forget I want to go 13-0 and win it all in 2008.... but I don't think Tuberville has the talent.

We'll Tuberville fooled the Auburn .... AGAIN . A guy loses 4 games this year... 2 that should never have been lost....AND HE GETS REWARDED ?????????????? How about a LOSS Clause??????

He gets a $200.000 raise after 2005, 6 and 2007 seasons. His buy out was reduced BUT HOW ABOUT A Penalty if he LOSES a GAME that he should win and drop us out of the polls. I guess my definition of excellence and Reward is different at Auburn than my company. If you fail 4 times out of 11..... you don't work for me long.

Auburn isn't even in the top 6 in SEC Championships. LSU, ALA, GA, TENN is ahead of us. And Tuberville has West Virginia and Tennessee next year... thank God no Florida unless in the SEC game. But as much as I think 2008 is THE YEAR Auburn can go 13-0, Mr. Mediocre will some how lose his 3 or 4 or 5 games. But Tuberville will get away with it because he will claim that WE have a NEW QB and "young team..... so while other top programs win with "young" players and seem to never have QB problems .... Auburn will find a way to lose.

And what is that pay schedule.... Tuberville looks like the Hero and not a Zero... makes the Millions but his OFF Coordinator (ranked around 102 in the Nation) and a DEF Coordinator (ranked 11th) make 20 per cent of what Tuberville. If it wasn't for the Defence Coordinator Auburn would have lost 6 games. So Maybe a Rolex or something needs to go to Will Muschamp.

You have heard it before, the difference between CHAMP and CHUMP is a "U", but in Auburn's case it is an "M" for Mediocre.

Shepard Smith the huge Ole Miss fan on FoxNews gave Auburn its War Eagle tonight on his show. Like most at Foxnews, he is one of the best announcers in the business. We miss him in Central Florida from his short time at our local TV station which still remains last in ratings.

But he is the old Pro at Foxnews and there when it started out. Foxnews has the top ratings year after year because of the fine people like him.

As further illustration of my "TUBERVILLE is an Under achiever" STANCE : One AU player (who is not asked to play )told me, "just think if we could have won the games we were supposed to ( and Tuberville is paid to do) like the USF game that slipped away due to High school mistakes. The MISS State game (even with an improved MSU) should have been a win. And the LSU game with some better play calling shouldn't have come down to a last second pass by LSU." So, I agree,Tuberville should have had 1 loss, technically, and have been probably #1 or #3 after losing to GA. BUT again, the fact that Tuberville and Borges cant get that extra punch in an offence ranked 103rd, is beyond me. If he deals and asks for a raise or he else leaves................... call me I can pay for the airline ticket to College Station.

Nice to beat Alabama for 6 times in a Row... but we were capable of beating Alabama. And I am grateful for him beating Florida 2 in a row. So dont get so big on Tuberville yet. Hear me out.

Rumor that Tuberville will leave to go to Texas A&M for 2008 run amok. And you cant trust Tuberville's honesty since he has a history of lies which Ole Miss will tell you. If Tuberville wants to go to College Station.... good riddens. I love the Florida wins, but Tuberville, like ARK Houston Nutt are under achievers. ARK, with talent that can play in the NFL today, loses a bunch of games because NUTT is worthless. Ditto with Tuberville. He either loses the typical 4 games a year (the ones that matter) or he gets upset at GA or LSU somewhere.

AUBURN: not being a traitor... or a fickle fan, but do not pay Tuberville a Sabin like $5,000,000 a year. HE isn't worth it.

Lets Review:

2000: He loses to Florida TWICE, one 31 point difference and in the SEC game he doesn't get a TD. Loses to Miss State 17-10 so that almost ruins the year. Cant win the big ones.

2001: Loses to North Carolina in the Bowl game, Loses to LSU, BAMA, ARK, Syracuse ... there is the normal 4 loss Tuberville team he learned to love at Ole Miss. NO SEC Champ game

2002: Gets killed by USC (which is the reason we dont play in the Natl Champ game since he lost to USC twice), Lost to ARK... again. Lost to Georgia, Lost to Florida... again.... ANOTHER 4 loss Season Tuberville loved to learn at Ole Miss. No SEC Champ game.

2003: Loses to USC again ( why we dont play in 2004 with a 13-0 year), Loses to GA ... again, loses to Ole Miss, loses to LSU. Loses to Georgia Tech .... Oh my one of Tubeville's 5 loss seasons he is used to at Ole Miss. No SEC Champ game

2004: Yeah whoopy... 13-0 and we lose out in the BCS game because of getting killed by USC twice. Not taken serious

2005: Loses to Georgia Tech in the opener..... again, loses to LSU in a must win. Loses to Wisconsin...... A 3 loss year and no SEC champ game.

2006: Loses to ARK.. KILLED by ARK, KILLED by Georgia, No SEC Champ game.

2007: Almost loses to KSU, loses to South Flo a duh, Lost to Miss State, Yeahhh beats Gators woooopy, Loses to LSU, Killed by Georgia who missed the SEC Champ game. HE beats BAMA in which he is supposed to. If he would have beat Miss State. Auburn would be going to the SEC game against Tenn. Auburn Defense #11 in the nation but not even in the top 100 in offense. You never know what he will do one week to the next. So there we have at least another 4 loss season.

IN 2008 we have West Virgina in Game #2... will Tuberville be ready... probably an embarrassment on ESPN again. Not sure if WV will be reloaded, but it would be great to beat a Big East team that shouldn't be ranked so high due to its lousy schedule not as tough as the SEC. LSU might not be the LSU of old with many players leaving and Les Miles going to Michigan probably. And thank the Lord, no Florida. But will Tuberville go 13-0 in a 2008 favorable schedule or lose 4 of those or 2 that makes us irrelevant.... Again.??????

Jay Jacobs, probably the best Athletic Director for Auburn: Please don't concede to Tuberville shopping for a new contract and a Sabin like $ 5 million contract.... he isn't worth it. Too many losses. Beating Bama ( a job he is paid to do) isn't all that when you lose 4 games. When Tuberville left the field showing his 6 wins over Bama.... we should have showed him the 4 he lost this year. Shameful.
